The Curated Pearl

Consign with us

We’re here to help create new stories for pieces that no longer serve or suit you. Our heart is to ensure consigning and ensure your experience consigning with us is one of ease and excellence.

It would be my pleasure to serve you.

What we accept

Women's clothing only — no men's, no children's, no baby.

Condition: clean and freshly laundered or dry-cleaned. No pet hair, no odor, no stains, no pilling, no missing buttons or broken zippers.

Ready for the rack: items should arrive clean, wrinkle-free, lint-rolled and ready to hang. Drop-offs that don’t meet this may still be accepted, but on adjusted terms — see How you’ll get paid.

Brands: everything welcome in excellent condition. Pieces from boutiques and labels like Cabi, Lululemon, Free People, Anthropologie, Athleta and J.Crew tend to sell fastest.

Step two

Dropping off

No appointment needed, but please let us know the day and time so we can be sure we're available. Leave your pieces in a closed tub or bag with your name on it. We'll go through everything and follow up with you afterwards. We'll save your tub and hangers for you.

Two decisions in advance

Anything you're collecting rather than donating, we ask you to pick up within a week — we only have so much room between events.

Pieces not chosen for consignment
Sometimes a piece isn't right for a season or doesn't meet condition standards. What should happen to those?
Pieces not sold
Not everything finds its buyer. What should happen to those?
Step three

How you'll get paid

You earn 60% of each sale. Payouts go out monthly — once your balance passes $50 it's paid that month, and below that it carries forward until it does.

Drop-offs where more than half the pieces need preparation such as steaming, cleaning, lint rolling or de-fuzzing may still be accepted, but at a 50/50 split for that drop-off. We’ll message you if this applies, and the reason will show on your payout.

The agreement

The split

You receive 60% of the final sale price of each piece. The Curated Pearl receives 40%.

Drop-offs where more than half the pieces need preparation such as steaming, cleaning, lint rolling or de-fuzzing may still be accepted, but at a 50/50 split for that drop-off. We’ll message you if this applies, and the reason will show on your payout.

Pricing

Items are priced thoughtfully based on brand, condition, demand, and how the event is curated. Pricing and discounting decisions are made at the discretion of The Curated Pearl, and pieces may be discounted during an event.

Payment

Payouts go out monthly. Once your balance passes $50 it is paid that month; below $50 it carries forward and is paid as soon as it crosses that amount.

Pieces not chosen for consignment or not sold

Pieces that aren't chosen for the event, and pieces that don't sell, are set aside according to the choice you made above — donated, or held for you to collect within one week.

Your tub and hangers

Set aside and available for pickup.

Drop-off

Pieces may be left on the porch without an appointment. Responsibility for items begins when they are received and logged, not at the moment they're set down — so please text once you've dropped off.

We review every application and will be in touch.

Thank you

Your application is in

We read every one ourselves. You'll get a text within a few days letting you know we've got room for your pieces and how to get them to us.

While you wait

Have a look through your closet for the pieces you'd wear in the next couple of months. Everything laundered, no pet hair, nothing with a stain or a broken zip. That's most of the work done before you ever drop off.
